Starting a mushroom farm?
Call us! (817) 779-3369
Getting started in the fresh mushroom business can be a daunting task. There's a ton of labor and materials that go into making viable Fruiting Blocks (colonized fruiting bags) for your farm. There's also the risk of contamination while waiting for them to colonize. Midnight Mushroom Co. now offers 10lb fruiting blocks on a recurring bases! We can freight ship them anywhere in the US (Alaska and Hawaii may have increased shipping costs).
Any species of Commercial Fruiting Blocks!
Well... maybe not any species due to the legality of some. However, we can certainly provide commercial fruiting blocks for any gourmet species. Have a great species already? We can also use your own proven cultures for your fruiting blocks. Species like Shiitake and Maitake have extended colonization periods (up to 90 days). We can send out these fully colonized blocks but ensure you allow them time to age before fruiting.
No Minimum Order Quantity!
We know that getting a mushroom business up and going is a balancing act of growing the mushrooms but also having the customers to buy them. Fruiting blocks have a shelf life and will need to be fruited quickly. So, storing your left over blocks until you need them isn't a good option. That's why we don't require any Minimum Order Quantity. Other companies have minimum orders of 500+.
Shipped to anywhere in the US
We partner with several freight companies to get you the fruiting blocks you need, when you need them. Please keep in mind that air freight to Hawaii and Alaska can be costly but it's possible.
